Joint project components for polarization analysis: Subproject 2: Single-crystal diffractometer with polarized neutrons (POLI) at the beam channel SR-9a of the FRM II
The aim of the project focused on three goals: Construction of a new measuring station on the SR-9a at the hot source of the FRM II to accommodate the polarized single-crystal diffractometer POLI, preparation for the construction of the flipping-ratio method with a high-field magnet, test measurements for 3D polarization analysis and feasibility studies of the flipping-ratio method as well as comparative measurements with unpolarized neutrons and other methods.
